Original front door.

This is the original front door which needed replacing due to rot in the frame and base of door.

A bad case of rot, an attempted repair by cutting out the bad wood has revealed that a new window was needed.

This shows that the left hand side opener had rotted away completely at the base.

Storm hinges allow the window to close over the frame giving more defence against water ingress.

This is the front door hung and ready to be painted and glazed. The door stops have been left off in case the client wants weather seal strips fitted.
